As students become more and more engaged with technology, it is important for teachers to become more comfortable "blending" traditional face-to-face learning with learning through technology. As a result, I have created the following website that students could engage in around the "Sophomore Defense," an integrated project that asks sophomores to create and defend a solution for bringing HIV infections down to zero in Alameda County.
The following website could be used by students as a resource guide as they work to complete a lengthy all encompassing project. Additionally, it will help students to stay organized and understand how they are being graded. The site will also provide links to necessary information for students to access. I believe that the website could be utilized by students after content is covered in all of their classes and they are in the research phase of the projects. The website is organized in a way that allows students to explore and find information they will find useful as they research potential solutions to bringing HIV infections down to zero in Alameda County.
The blended learning website can be found by clicking on the following link: https://life10thgradedefense.weebly.com/
