Description of Work...
For my Master's Thesis, I partnered with a group of three other teachers across a variety of content and grade levels in order to research the mindset of teachers and their approach to teaching English Language Learners (ELL's). This mixed-methods study involved preliminary interviews, providing a training to middle and high school teachers and a post interview where the team sought to understand the impact of the training.
Our thesis can be found by opening the file below. It was selected for an award from the Loyola Marymount School of Education for excellence in research in Urban Education.
This thesis served as the culminating project for my Masters in Education with a concentration in Digital Learning. A recorded presentation of our group's findings is also shown below.
