Arch Trail in Chautauqua State Park. Boulder, CO. P.S. it's Dog friendly.
Home of Coors Light, cute dogs, and people who like the outdoors more than the indoors.
5b. The driving starts to get a wee bit more interesting around Colorado.
6. Zion National Park, UT
Finally, a place to stretch my legs. Observation point is a nice 7.1 mile stroll as long as you start early. I also made sure to check out The Narrows, The Watchman Trail and Hidden Canyon. The buses that transport you throughout the park are certainly a vibe.
7. Bryce Canyon National Park, UT
Hoodoos, such a dope new vocabulary word. 1/2 day well spent. Spent the rest of the day in a jacuzzi in Arizona eating a steak dinner.
7b. Pit stop to camp in Arizona. Fun fact, the state of Arizona does not participate in Daylight Savings which causes you to miss sunrises and sunsets when traveling between Utah and Arizona.
8. Yosemite National Park

Four Mile Trail has it all, it even ends at a viewpoint that you could have just driven to...
Freezing cold, sleep deprived, happy to watch a sunrise before driving to Oakland for a job interview the same day.
